The West Woods is Coming!

The West Woods, book 2 in The Fountain series is almost here. Here are some thoughts from the author, Suzy Vadori.

I am thrilled beyond belief to be able to share the beautiful cover for The West Woods!  Designer Jeff Minkevics gave this story the perfect mix of fantasy and mystery.

The West Woods is Book 2 of The Fountain Series, a prequel that takes place the year before The Fountain. It’s Courtney’s story – how she came to be the hardened person that she was in The Fountain (hint – it has to do with MAGIC!). It also answers lots of questions about the St. Augustus campus, the connection between the school’s founder and its teachers, and more.

This book was so much fun to write. Courtney has a softer side. She has amazing friendships that came to life in this book. There is still magic, and romance, of course – but the friendships that developed in this book were amazing to write.

Today was a super fun day – COVER…

Welcome to Jeanette Dover

Evil Alter Ego Press is delighted to announce the signing of Jeanette Dover and her debut novel, Finding Atlantis.

J.M. (Jeanette) Dover writes fantasy, penning short stories as well as middle grade and YA novels. Jeanette loves using both sides of her brain. Her past careers as a social worker, a fashion designer and an accountant prove she can be both creative and logical—sometimes strangely at the same time. Being a writer gives her a way where the two sides of her mind can play happily together. She lives with her husband and requisite writers’ pet (in this case, a loudly opinionated sheltie) in Calgary, Alberta.

We know Jeanette will be a wonderful addition to EAEP and we are already hard at work with her and her novel.

Finding Atlantis will have a Fall 2018 release.

Still a new author trying to write and publish his first novel.

I met Suzy Vadori at the Rocky Mountain Writer’s Retreat two years ago. Over the weekend several discussions about writing with her and others occurred including an extended discuss on relationships and romances in YA. She also took the time to explain her method of plotting stories. She described herself as a quilter. Which made a lot of sense to me. I learned to enjoy YA lit raising my three boys. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Artemis Fowl, you know the list. So I bought her book and read it. Gave it to my sister, she loved it. Wonderful story, well written, with one of the evilest antagonists ever! I kid you not!
